S.C. Representative Jonathon Hill spoke out concerning the election of Judge Edward “Ned” Miller in the “MUST SEE VIDEO” above. His statements were interrupted by Minority Leader, S.C. Democrat Todd Rutherford of Richland County. Rutherford is himself a lawyer who serves on the Judicial Merit Selection Commission (JMSC) along with his close ally, Senator Luke Rankin of Horry County. Senate President Harvey Peeler overruled Rutherford’s objections and a damning reading of Miller’s court history in regards to the Bryant family was then put forward by Hill.
