The resolution adopted at an "emergency executive meeting" Monday night was prompted by recent campaign mailers for state House District 8 challenger Vaughn Parfitt that stated they were paid for by the SCGOP. Parfitt is running against state Rep. Jonathon Hill of Townville, who is seeking a fourth term.
